My space

Collection of unique printed fabrics inspired by landscape and the relation between human and nature. I was looking for some place where I could be myself.I was looking for the answer of what is the real place in my life.”My space” is a reflection of the spiritual and deep life, which we have inside our souls. I'm inspired by environment around me.“My space” came after spending some time around Lake Mývatn.The local lava fields became a huge part of my daily life. I was coming there to dance, meditate and be close to the nature. After spending some time there, I felt strong and powerful, and I wanted keep thosefeelings for long time.Natural shape of sculptural fields around me, inspired me to print those fabrics. To be able to feel like in my lava fields, everywhere I will be.My view of the lava fields aren't imitation of nature, it is altar, but without the religious meaning. I wanted to print out my memory and keep the power of this place.
